A fully furnished house located on the sunny south west of the island, overlooking the amazing views of the ocean and the hills in a semi-circle which embrace the village of Arco da Calheta. The kitchen has a hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and an oven. A comfortable living room with cable TV. There are 3 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower, mirror with powerpoints for shaver and hairdryer. There’s a terrace for outside dining or simply to delight in the fantastic wide horizone.This countryside part of the island is rich on its vegetation and is particularly suited to walkers who wish to explore the mountains and the narrow footpaths running alongside the Levadas ( great places to walk and experience the beautiful landscape). One of the finest scenery takes about 20 minutes by car (Rabaçal). On the other hand the house is near to the beach. You can hear the sound of the waves. Calheta beach is 3 minutes away by car where you can find a well stocked supermarket, restaurants, new marina and a golden sand beach. You can enjoy the water sports. There are tourism programmes such as whale and dolphin watching or fishing excursions. If you appreciate art, then you must visit Centro das Artes – Casa das Mudas ( New Art Center) and it just will take you 5 minutes by car.
