Brudenell on the River Cottage overlooks the beautiful Cardigan River just steps away. It has two decks both overlooking the river, one on the side and a new deck 28 x 8 ft - the salt water river beach has sand and is good for swimming. Propane BBQ and patio furniture are provided. The cottage is nestled amoung beautiful white birch trees which provide shade for those hot days of summer. There are two bedrooms (one queen, one double and the sofa has a double pull out bed). (Pine floors throughout) Kitchen is fully equipped - utensils, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc, stove, fridge, dishwasher, just bring food. Living room has an electric fire place, TV, DVD, VCR, radio, (crib or playpen if needed). Spacious dining room seat six comfortably. Full bathroom, tub, shower, sink, toilet and all linens provided. Quiet and private. Ideally located, 3 minutes away from world class Brudenell River Golf Course.
Nestled among beautiful birch trees you can relax in the hammocks of this peaceful setting and enjoy the savory taste of clams that you can dig on the river beach and cook at the cottage, or you can go for a swim, relax on the deck with a book and bask in the sunshine. Close by (15 to 20 minutes away) you have access to popular food chains, fine dining, super markets, and lots of shopping in general.
In Charlottetown which is about 35 minutes away, you can enjoy live plays at Confederation Center of the Arts, with such musicals as Anne of Green Gables, and endless other activities as may be seen in the PEI Tourish Information Guide
Rental Rates:
800 per week during July and August. 700 in off seasons May, June, September, and October. Prices quoted are for 1-4 persons, $50 for each additional person. 25% deposit required on reservation, balance on arrival.
Booking are from Saturday to Saturday, Check in time 3 pm and check out time 11 am.
