The mansion was built by Aaron Flint Churchill in the 1890's as a place for his family to retire to for holidays. While Aaron was a wealthy businessman in Georgia, the serenity and peace of his Nova Scotia homeland was too irresistible. We are sure you will find his home equally alluring. This singular mansion is situated high on a hill overlooking Darling Lake and the Bay of Fundy. These striking views can be enjoyed from the dining rooms, Widow's Walk and most of the bedrooms.

Located high upon a hill overlooking two lakes and the Bay of Fundy, Churchill Mansion Inn offers beautiful views on every side. If you want to do more than look, then sandy ocean beaches, walking trails, bicycling, and canoeing on the lake are all nearby.

We are located just nine miles north-east of Yarmouth on Route #1 (The Evangeline Trail). We have rooms with either one or two beds. Some of our rooms now have jacuzzi-style tubs and gas or simulated fireplaces. We have two large sitting rooms for television, music or good conversation. Three meals a day are available, starting with a full breakfast, lunch, and concluding with a seafood buffet accompanied by stories of Aaron Churchill, his home and the surrounding area.


Eight guest rooms - four with queen size beds - including a very special Honeymoon Suite. All rooms have private baths.

Majority non-smoking rooms.

Rental Rates:
Open April thru November (Other times may be available). $4600 CAD + 14% tax per week up to 16 visitors. $60 for each additional person. Children under 12 free (max 2 per group). 30% deposit non-refundable after 90 days. Until confirmed rates are subject to change without notice.

Room #1- A large corner room overlooking two lakes and The Bay of Fundy. Contains a double bed, queen bed, and hide-a-bed. Large full bath.

Room #2- A large room with a view of the gardens and Darling Lake. Contains double bed, queen bed, and hide-a-bed. Shower separate from other facilities.

Room #3- Honeymoon Suite complete with private balcony. View of two Lakes and The Bay of Fundy. Contains full bath plus double whirlpool tub. Simulated fireplace. Contains queen bed and hide-a-bed.

Room #4- Housekeeping unit with private entrance at ground level near gardens. View of Darling Lake. Contains queen bed and full bath with whirlpool tub. Space available for cot.

Room #5- Smaller room containing queen bed. Private bath with shower.

Room #6- Adjoining rooms with door separating the two. Full bath with large claw foot bathtub. View of Darling Lake. Contains two double beds, along with hide-a-bed.

Room #7- Originally the den, situated on main floor. Contains private facilities with shower. Space available for cot if necessary. Antique decor.

Room #8- Wheelchair accessible. Private entrance on ground level. Contains queen bed, hide-a-bed and barrier-free bath.
