'Cova da Loba' is the name of a 3-room apartment in the Lisbon suburb of Paco d'Arcos in a neighbourhood known as 'Alto da Loba' (hill of the mother wolf). Paco de Arcos 15 km from Lisbon centre, belongs to the municipality of Oeiras. The train takes 20 minutes to Cais do Sodre Metro station and by car you do more or less the same depending on traffic density. The apartment is at a 5 minutes drive from the A5 motorway from Lisbon to Cascais. In the apartement itself you find a big hall surrounded by a spacious living room, an also spacious kitchen, a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms have 2 single beds that you can easily join together into 1 double bed. Orthopedic matrasses and anti-alergic bed-clothes and cussions are available. The sofa in the living room is convertible into a very comfortable double bed. Hot water in the bathroom comes from the heater in the kitchen fuelled by butane gas. The kitchen has a gas cooker for two pans and an electric boiling ring for a third. There is also a refrigerator, a microwave, an automatic bread roaster and all the basic equipment that you need for cooking and eating simple meals. The 3 rooms and bathroom are equipped with electric heating, very comfortable for the winter evenings. In the living room and in the kitchen you find a round table each with 4 chairs. And one more wooden chair for the chinese writing desk in the living room where you can connect your laptop to the cable and have access to the internet. You can receive and send your mail and the kids can play their favorite games on line. Fantastic sunsets from the rear windows of kitchen and livingroom.
