Domus Gordiani is a new elegant flat just in front of a park situated in the ancient area of Villa Gordiani, one of the large villas in the Roman suburb, built at 3rd mile, Via Prenestina in 2nd century A.D.
The Prenestino quarter, which is a part of the city still unknown to many tourists, is just outside the historical city centre well connected by the efficient tram service and other ATAC public transport.
FLAT DESCRIPTION
The flat is in an apartment building which has a resident porter.
It is made up of a big bedroom, containing a double and a single bed, a large sitting-room with two beds, a dinette kitchen and a bathroom.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped ( 5 burner gas cooker, eye level oven, dishwasher, fridge). Cutlery, crockery and pots are provided.
The bathroom has been newly furnished with a large stone shower stall, a built-in washbasin and a washing machine.
The flat is also provided with satellite TV, safe-deposit box with electronic combination lock, steel-clad door as well as towels and sheets.
A modern indipendent air conditioner and central heating guarantee the greatest comfort at any time of the year.
Clean and well-kept, it offers you the warm sensation of feeling at home. You can also taste, on request, first rate home-made meals and fabulous cakes prepared by Signora Rosa according to the best Italian regional recipes.
THE QUARTER
The area, which is mainly inhabited by Roman families, offers the following facilities: a fruit and vegetable market, supermarkets, shopping centres and several shops. You can buy anything at the very popular local market which takes place near the slaughterhouse on Sundays.
If you like jogging you can go to the nearby well-kept park, which also offers recreational facilities for children.
