In this stronghold, you will not only find a local museum, which exhibits treasures from antiquity, but even a pleasant caf?ith a pleasant guest garden and playground. During the summer months, in the stronghold various plays takes place, events and art exhibitions as well. During the winter this stronghold is closed.
In the summer, the closely situated Pressegger See with its beach baths a wonderful resort to sojourn. The area of Hermagor is ahikes and cycling trips. Hermagor is located close to the three country point with Italy and Slovania. In 2 hours you will reach Venice! Cities like Villach and Klagenfurt are easily reachable and surely worth visiting!
In the winter you have enough ski possibilities in the Austrian 5th biggest ski area Nassfeld. This ski area is reachable with a free ski bus, which stops directly infront of the house. There are various langlauf possibilities in the direct surrounding of your apartment. Skate lovers can enjoy Weissensee the entire winter ( within 22km and from +/-December up to March) or on the Presseggersee (5km). Then there is the ski areas of Granskja Gora (Slovenia)as well, which is easily reachable.
