Highmount cottage can sleep up to six people, it has a large bedroom with a kingsized bed and an open fire, two smaller bedrooms, one with a single bed and a pull out under bed, and the other with full sized bunkbeds.the sittingroom is small and cosy with a stove, there is a good sized kitchen with a washer/drier, electric cooker microwave and also a rayburn stove.the bathroom has a bath and electric shower. The cottage is electrically heated throughout electricity is paid for by token meter. tokens for which can be purchased at the nearby post office.There is also a small garden with patio area and shed and clothes line. Highmount is situated in the small fishing village of Hamnavoe, Burra Isle and overlooks the village and harbour, nearby is beautiful scenery, sandy beaches and many interesting walks, the area is also ideal for birdwatching. It is only ten miles from the main town of Lerwick and is connected to the mainland by bridge. There is a regular bus service to the town. In the village itself there is a small shop selling most every day foodstuffs. and also a post office.

Rental Rates:
prices in are as follows, January February March November and December £200 per week or £35 per night.

April and October £250 per week £40 per night

May June July August and September £280 per Week £45per night

Up Helly Aa is £250 per week or £40 per night

Christmas and new Year is £250 or £40
