Local artists work nightime to prepare colourful real flowers carpets all over the streets, every year with a different theme. The whole week is animated by concerts, exhibitions and festivals.
In the south - eastern corner of Sicily there is the province of Syracuse, one of the most appreciated areas where tourists can enjoy both the awe-inspiring heights and lave-flows of Mt Etna, and trendy villages like Taormina, Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina.
