Hotel Caracol is a recently refurbished small, friendly hotel, situated off the coastal road between Pontevedra and Sanxenxo. Sitting just metres from the shores of the Ria de Pontevedra, overlooking the beautiful Island of Tambo, there are two beaches, an old harbour and a small taverna.
This small seaside hotel is a delightful alternative to self catering, it´s informal ¨come and go as you please¨ atmosphere will have you feeling totally relaxed. It´s also a great place for kids, free to play on the beaches and completely welcome for ice creams in the bar.
The hotel also boasts, what we consider to be the best restaurant in the area, sit on the terrace overlooking the sea, and enjoy the freshest seafood, or local meats cooked in a traditional wood burning oven (asadora), served by the ever gregarious Paco the hotel owner.
The hotel is perfectly placed to visit many wonderful towns, villages, islands and beaches, or just laze in the sun.

Sanxenxo, is a coastal town with many shops, a market, bars & restaurants, there is a wonderful mariner with millionaires yachts & a blue flag beach.
O Grove is a traditional fishing village that has grown, with lots of bars, & restaurants. Try a trip on one of the glass bottom boats and find out more about the ria
Visit the islands of Ons & Cies, by boat from Sanxenxo, with wonderful walks & stunning views. The Island of Cies is a sun worshippers paradise with the most gorgeous beaches.

Visit Combarro & discover a smugglers paradise of old buildings, bars, restaurants & small cobbled streets, or shop & dine in the brand new sports marina
