Ithaka House

This wonderful carraige house has two lovely suites or townhouses that can accommodate up to 5-6 people if a family, usually no more than 2-4 if not a family. We are located in the fabulous Catskill Park with Belleayre Mountain in our backyard. This is one of the seven areas in the world where you can see the sky at night the clearest. Our air is pure and our forest and trails so enticing. We have a state lake in the town which has some boating, a museum, a library with internet, a tennis court, three restaurants in town(only a 3 minute walk), the bus to NYC(which is only 2 hours away) in town or a special shopping bus to Kingston, our largest city in the area. We have a yard to enjoy and play outdoor games in, a mediation cabin for world peace, a community center with many classes and events, Belleayres summer concerts(which has had stars like Ray Charles), famous town of Woodstock only 20 minutes away and of course skiing, snowboarding, snoetubeing in the winter. Each suite has one bedroom with a queen bed and fireplace, a bathroom and full kitchen and large living room(one has a cathedral ceiling), air-conditioning, state of the art heating monitors, two televisions and vcr, craftmatic beds(so comfortable) and a deck with barbeque to relax on. Reiki and Aromatherapy given here and tarot card readings. Handfastings, retreats, reunions. Tea parties nightly and card parties. Wonderful concerts at Belleayre one mile away. Flea markets, auctions, farmers markets, plays etc.

Rental Rates:
Summer prices are only $500 per week from July 4th till Labor Day, 250 per weekend

Fall prices(Sept and Oct) are $500 per week, $300 per weekend

Winter prices are $1000 per week from Nov 1 till March 31 and $500 per weekend.



All can be rented yearly or monthly, please call for special pricing for a block of several months or season or year.
