Situated in a small, sleepy hamlet surrounded by the countryside and woodland of the Poitou-Charente with its many footpaths, cycle- and bridleways; within 3kms of the historic market town of Civray with all its ameneties. Our guest room, with private shower room, in our 17th Century, recently restored former farmhouse with exposed beams and stonework, is newly available to the holiday market for rental by the night, week or part-week, all year round.
Convenient for Poitiers and Limoges airports and the N10; airport pickup can be arranged.
A life-guarded swimming lake and a swimming pool are 5 minutes away. A splash pool for children is provided in the garden.
Nearby attractions are Futuroscope, The Martyr Village of Oradour sur Glane, La Vallée des Singes (monkey valley) and various chateaux open to the public. Of course, the farm is surrounded by the beautiful and peaceful countryside with its wealth of rivers, lakes and woodlands; making it perfect for ornithologists, with many species that are rare or absent from the UK being common in the area.
A 4-course dinner, with aperitifs, wine and coffee, cooked using mainly the organic produce from our own garden, is available on request for 22€ pp.
Vegetarians are well-catered for.

Rental Prices vary slightly, according to season,but we do not charge significantly more for school holidays. We aim to be 'family friendly' and that includes the prices!
