Description:
Le Fouille is a Breton longere style cottage situated approximately 15 km north of Pontivy in central Brittany. It is located on the edge of the Quenecan Forest and is close to Lake Guerledan, the largest lake in Brittany. The cottage will sleep 6 in comfort and consists of well equipped Kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven and fridge/freezer, large lounge / dining room with Sky TV, DVD and CD players and selection of DVD's. There is a superb fireplace with large wood-burning stove. French windows lead onto the front patio. Large play room with a play station and games, a bar football game and a variety of board games etc. Bathroom, with separate shower and washing machine, separate WC. Three large bedrooms. One bedroom contains a king size bed and the other two rooms contain two singles in each, upstairs shower room and WC.
The cottage stands in approximately two acres of land. It is privately positioned and not overlooked but without being too isolated. There are several outbuildings and original features including a stone well (capped for safety). In the barn is a selection of bicycles which are free to use. Outside the house is a variety of patio furniture and a barbecue is available. This is not part of a complex with other gites. The house and surrounding land is for your sole use.
There is plenty of space for children to play safely and there is even a tree house (not too high!).
The village of Silfiac is approximately 1 km away (an easy walk). Silfiac contains a general store / cafe which sells fresh bread and milk. The town of Clegerec is a 10 minute drive. Clegerec has a number of shops and restaurants. The major town of Pontivy is a 20 minute drive.

Rental Rates:
The cottage costs between £225 - £395 depending on the time of year. Discount is available for reduced occupancy and for stays of more than one week. Shorter bookings are possible by negotiation.
