Nearby is an abundance of seafood restaurants, of meatfare tavernas, cafeterias, small shops and artisan studios... Only an hour away from Athens Airport by the new super highway or by commuter train. With plenty to do for everyone and within a day’s trip from most 'Must Do' Greek spots ... In Loutraki, you can also visit the Cathedral of St John the Baptist, the Holy church of Panagia Giatrissa (the Healer Madonna), where-in the miracle-powered icon of the Virgin Mary is kept. Another church is St Panourios architcturally with two hypostases,and the church of Isapostolos Kosmas o Aetolos. You can also visit the monasteries of Anastasis and St. Marina.

In the broader area of Loutraki there are also the chapels of St. Kyriaki, St. Anna, Panagia Evangelistria (Our Lady of Good Tidings), the chapel of Taxiarches (the Archangels), St Dionysius, St George, the monastery of Hagia Triada and others

The Proto-Christina Byzantine church of St Andreas is of great religious and historical significance. It is built in the area of the old spa-town. At a distance of approximately 20 kilometres east of Loutraki, there is the Byzantine church of Panagia tou Prathiou (the Prathi Madonna), which was built between the 8th - 9th centuries.

The ideal geographical location of Loutraki offers unlimited possibilities for excursions. For the sea-lovers there are a lot of beaches, still trackless, that can be visited by boat. Moreover, there are organized one-day excursions: small boats depart from the port of Loutraki and visit the Vouliagmeni Lake, Strava, Milokopi and the Alkyonides Islands, offering a unique experience for unforgettable trips to nature and to the clear beaches with the calm waters.
Finally, there are excursions with frequent schedules, that include sailing of the Isthmus Canal and excursions to the Corinthian Gulf and Saronikos Gulf as well.

At the “Galanopoulos” shelter, visitors can rest and gain their strength for new thrills. The Mountaineering Club of Loutraki organizes excursions and hiking on the slopes of the Geraneia Mountains very frequently. Moreover, various sport centres in Loutraki organize activities, such as rock-climbing, horse-riding, trekking, mountain bike rides and paintball.
The strategic geographical position of Loutraki offers unlimited possibilities for one-day visits and trips to the most important archaeological sites of South Greece, such as: Mycenae, Nafplion, Epidaurus, the Acropolis, Mistras, Delphi, Olympia ...
