Lower Coombe Royal... a magnificent counrty house in its own private valley in the heart of the South Hams near Kingsbridge, South Devon. Here you will find luxury five star self catering accommodation in one of the most secluded yet convenient settings in the South Hams.

Each luxury self catering cottage opens straight out onto the magnificent and of historical note, 8 acre gardens, largely planted in the 19th Century and full of camellias and more exotic flowers, shrubs and trees. A short walk beyond the private gardens is the market town of Kingsbridge. Close at hand you can find many distractions such as the beautiful beaches of the South Hams and the coast path and only slightly more distant, the rugged walks on Dartmoor

There are four self catering holiday or short break cottages at Lower Coombe Royal. The luxury accommodation ranges from one bedroom to three in combination sleeping between two and eighteen. Whichever you choose, it will be furnished comfortably and to a high standard with eclectic antiques and new bathrooms and kitchens in 2006.

Lower Coombe Royal is suitable for families who would like to be near the sea and for kids who like to romp in woods, for those who are garden enthusiasts, or romantics who come for peace and fresh air!

Where we can, we use local natural and organic products. This is from the welcome treats and toiletries that will greet you on your arrival, which include our home grown fruit and vegetables when in season, through to the cleaning products that we use . For this we have been given a silver Green Tourism Business Scheme award!

For your own comfort, we do not accept smoking inside the properties and we regret we do not allow dogs.
