Pitt was once a farm on the famous Trelawne estate and lies nestled at the top of the Looe River , in its own sheltered valley surrounded by farm and woodland. For those of you that appreciate the countryside Pitt is an ideal choice for a self-catering holiday.

Pitt is very fortunate in its position to be blessed with the availability of many local activities and places of interest , The Eden Project, Gardens of Heligan, National Trust properties, National Marine Aquarium at Plymouth and The Maritime Museum at Falmouth, to mention but a few. Not forgetting our beautiful beaches and walks. If your interests are angling or horse riding, these can be arranged.

Country Inns and well stocked shops are but 2 miles in our local villages of Pelynt, Duloe and Lanreath. The historic fishing coves of Looe and Polperro with an abundance of watering holes and restaurants are a short drive of 5 miles alternatively why not let us arrange a taxi for your leisure.

Although you may find yourselves forgetting that the rest of the world exists by truly relaxing in the land of legend and history in our lovely landscaped gardens and grounds.
