The area is popular for its 3 championship golf courses and is approximately 10 minutes drive from White Sand and Blue Flag beach of La Zenia. There are many other beautiful beaches along the coast which are ideal for young families with gentle sloping sand into the warm sea, all facilitated with beach bars and water sports such as jet skiing, boating, scuba diving as well as fishing in the Summer. Near local shops, bank and a whole range of restaurants and bars, and also near the famous Plaza with even more shops and great night life.

There are also many places for walking, cycling (which may be hired), etc. The costal paths and canals make the ideal place for lots of activities during the summer.

The salt water lakes are a sight to please anyone at any time of the year, which attracts a variety of wildlife, especially the flamingos- a great treat for bird watchers. The nearby region of Murcia is known as the garden of Europe with its abundance of fresh produce is one of the largest suppliers in Europe.

There is also horse riding, Go-Karting, bowling and tennis in the vicinity.

The well planned road network is very convenient for easy access to Alicante, Murcia, Cartagena (the famous sea port), Elche and even Valencia by the A332.
The historical town of Torrevieja (means Old Tower) and San Pedro Delpinatar are approx 20miles away.
