Description:
Imagine old and coloured villages, farmers coming from the fields with their scythes and pitchforks , horses pulling carts full of hay, meandering along an unpaved street while avoiding geeese, turkeys and chickens that wander around freely. Then as the days ends, a procession of cows appears from their pasture, ambling up the street, stopping and lawing in front of their own yard door. This is Transilvania - a medieval world almost without rival in Europe.
On this journey you will discover Saxon Transilvania, one of Europe's last surviving medieval landscapes, you will travel through timeless saxon villages, where traditional farming is still in use, explore their fantastic fortified churches, enjoy the almost unspoiled countryside with its astonishing richness of wild flower.

- Hike following shepherd's trails up to an alpine meadow where you will visit a traditional shepherd camp
- Hike up the hills towards the village of Magura, crossing meadows carpated with wild flowers, take the trails through the forest towards a ridge where you have spectacular view over the traditional romanian mountain villages.

- explore the saxon villages like Prejmer with its best fortified church of Eastern Europe and the remote village of Viscri that was added to the Unesco list of World Monuments as an example of a medieval village in a perfect relationship with its surrounding landscape and lifestyle
- have all meals prepared in a traditional receipes , all bio products from farmhouses in Magura : cheese, milk, eggs, bread, meat - veal, pork , chicken, the famous sheep on a steak in an open fire and lots and lots of old receipes.
