Perfectly Vermont! The Salt Ash Inn has been a variety of businesses over the years, and has been lodging guests since the 1960's. This is a casual, friendly establishment, and is family owned and operated. Children of all ages are wecome, and so are pets! Not all of the rooms are pet friendly, so please call ahead if you would like to bring your furry friend. Children 12 and under stay for free. There is a small fee for pets to stay as guests. The Salt Ash Inn is well located between the Killington and Okemo resort areas, and near the charming town of Woodstock. Central Vermont is a fantastic place to visit in all seasons; to hike, ride bikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles or horses, canoe, kayak, downhill or cross country ski, snowshoe. There are also numerous cultural attractions in the area such as museums (this is the hometown of former President Calvin Coolidge, historic site is one mile away) fine crafts studios (builders of fine furniture, pottery, glassblowers) theater. Working farms that are open to the public, featuring the production of famous Vermont cheeses and maple syrup are located nearby. A hearty, homecooked breakfast is included each day. Lunch and dinners can be arranged for groups, with advance notice.
