Peppertree Cottage (Circa 1923), an original mud brick cottage renovated to a most comfortable standard, is nestled in the gardens and is complete with an open fire for those romantic winter nights, split system heating/cooling, wide screen DTV, VCR/DVD, microwave, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities and an en-suite bathroom. There is a queen size bed in one bedroom and two single beds in another. Both bedrooms have a clock radio, electric blankets, wardrobe etc.
The moderate tarrif includes a full cooked Australian style breakfast served in the elegant dining room.

Horsham is a lively city located in the mid west of Victoria and about half way between Melbourne and Adelaide. You can enjoy the beautiful Botanic Gardens or stroll amongst the ancient red gums lining the Wimmera river and explore the wetlands with is many and varied forms of flora and fauna. The river is popular for water sports and several BBQ and picnic areas can be found along its shady banks.
See excellent exhibitions and the fine collection of Australian art and photography at the Horsham Regional Art Gallery. The Wesley Performing Arts Centre has regular performances of live theatre and music. The beautiful 18 hole golf course, with a Pro shop, fine bistro and lounge bar with panoramic views over the fairways and tees, is rated in the top 100 of Australia. In the evening take in a movie at the three screen Cinema Cenntre, visit a disco or enjoy a meal at one of the many great restaurants or hotel bistros.
Horsham offers a superb base for exploring a region that offer scenic bushland, mountains and waterways. Wartook Valley and the majestic Grampians mountain range are a picturesque short drive away. Well worth seeing for the magnificent display of wild flowers in the spring and summer and the dramatic scenery of waterfalls, spectacular lookouts, age old rock formations and wildlife.
