Our spacious self-catering cottage is stunningly situated in natural machair grounds, perched on the edge of the sea, near to the Isle of Barra Beach Hotel. It is in one of the most idyllic locations in Scotland, providing the most incredible sea views from all aspects; the sunsets over the ocean are spectacular! It faces South West, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with direct access to the adjacent wide, white sands of Halaman Bay and a secluded rocky cove. Well behaved pets are welcome - the beach is ideal for them!
The cottage is beautifully furnished and carpeted, and fully equipped with satellite television, DVD player and CD player/ radio. Most of the accommodation is on the ground floor, with a large main bedroom occupying the whole of the top storey. The fitted kitchen has a full electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, refrigerator and freezer. The cottage sleeps six, having one twin and two double bedrooms. The large king size bedroom is up the stairs leading from the spacious open plan sitting/ dining room, which also has a patio door to the ocean side. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet, hand washbasin with light and shaver socket above, and heated towel rail. In the hall there is a double-door cupboard with storage space for coats and shoes, and a large airing cupboard.
