The Old Schoolroom is situated on the Hebridian Isle of Islay. The property is a Victorian schoolmasters house and schoolroom in 1/2 an acre of grounds. The Old Schoolroom has been renovated to the highest of standards and offers comfortable accommodation for 4 people.
Ideal for exploring Islay, Jura and Colonsay The Old Schoolroom is centrally located. With an abundance of wildlife, stunning countryside and eight distilleries Islay has something to offer everyone. The pace of life is relaxed and The Old Schoolroom offers the perfect place to get away from it all.
The Old Schoolroom has its own private garden, with seating and a barbie for the warmer months. Heated throughout by underfloor heating, and with a peat burning stove to toast the toes The Old Schoolroom is open all year. We have been awarded 4 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.
