Description:
Town Farm Cottages are two detached cottages situated in the middle of Cloughton village, 4 miles north of Scaborough. There is easy access to a spectacular coastline and some of the most beautiful scenery in Yorkshire. Cloughton is on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, which offers vast areas of unspoilt countryside and provides an ideal base for a walking, cycling, or touring holiday.
The cottages are set in the farmyard at Town Farm and there are gardens and safe children's play areas available for visitors use. The cottages, which sleep 5 and 6, have recently been completely redecorated and refurbished and offer a very high standard of accommodation. Full gas central heating has been fitted in both and this plus all electricity, bed linen, towels, etc. is included in the price. Cots, high chairs, etc. are also available free of charge - just tell us what you require.
The cottages have direct dial telephones, colour TVs, video players and digi boxes, and the kitchens are exceptionally well equipped with gas cookers, microwaves, dishwashers, fridge/freezers and washer/dryers.
The tastefully decorated rooms include a bedroom and a loo on the ground floor in both cottages for those who find climbing stairs a problem. The dining rooms and sitting rooms are separate and there is a living gas fire in each sitting room, which provides the perfect cosy place to spend a night in with either a book or a video.
The local amenities include several pubs and inns, all offering a warm welcome to adults and children, providing good beer and excellent food. Also in the village there is a post office / grocery store. Safe, off road parking is available for all vehicles, in the farmyard.
Visitors wishing to bring their pets on holiday to Town Farm can do so – we often have dogs to stay and horses are also welcome. Grazing and stabling can be provided.
