Description:
Holiday in Apulia is always a suggestive experience. Our proposal is to make it warm and comfortable. Imagine a sober, elegant building of the XIX century, situated on the hills of Gargano. Imagine around it olive-groves, the characteristic fragrance, that only this very land can have. This is Villa Basso, for the traveller who appreciates fine taste, a real historical character, and a home away from home.

This ancient typical villa was once the summer residence of a rich local family. It is in an ideal position to enjoy a wonderful view of the sea. It was the set of the movie “ High Bright Sun” with Dirk Bogarde.
The villa has been restored with the care and passion that only those who loves this place can feel. The house is equipped with every comfort and furnished with taste: a spacious and bright kitchen with a big stone fireplace and a living room, with a wooden top-floor that accommodates the bedroom with a double bed. Two comfortable single sofa-bed complete the sleeping possibilities; wide bath with shower and sunlight.
The main entrance leads into the house from the very large terrace which overlooks the sea.
In the property there are two other apartments of different sizes and different sleeping possibilities for rent.

Surrounded by many points of interest, such as the Archangel Michael Basilica in Monte Sant’Angelo , the Umbra forest , the white high cliffs of the coast nearby , the house makes a perfect base from which to explore the area. It is very nicely suited to simply relaxing in a quiet area. Although the beaches (both rock and sand) are not far from here, and there are hill towns a plenty to discover in the valley and nearby mountains.

Rental period : from April throught November

Low season 600 euro /week

Mid season 750 euro /week

August 850 euro /week
