Villa Fonte is a stunningly restored village house in the Beiras region of Portugal, overlooking and 5 minutes walk from the beautiful village of Campelo. A peaceful location, surrounded by mountains but within walking & driving distance of everything you could wish for.
There are 4 bedrooms, 2 doubles, 1 twin and 1 with bunkbeds and there is a double bed-settee in the lounge. There are 2 bath/shower rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washing machine & tumble dryer. There is an indoor dining balcony, and an extension area with a 1/4 size pool table.
There is a large roof terrace with stunning views over the mountains, 2 further large tiled terraces, a basketball terrace, lawn & gardens and a large swimming pool 30ft x 15ft.
The restored mule shed houses the sunloungers, outdoor tables & chairs , bikes & games and there is a constant supply of logs in the woodshed.
There is a shop/pub/cafe, a trout farm with a restaurant and a football pitch in Campelo.
The beautiful town of Castanheira de Pera is 10 mins drive away and has banks, pharmacy, internet cafe and an assortment of bars and restaurants. There is also a fabulous new Lido, Praia de Rochas where you can hire boats & pedalos.
It is 40 mins drive to the architecturally beautiful city of Coimbra and 1 hour from the popular beach resort of Figueira da Foz.
