Genuine Australian colonial c1859 heritage. The only small B&B in York awarded listing on the State Register of Heritage Places. Wansbrough House, Cottage and grounds is State Heritage Registered Place 2830 awarded permanent heritage status on 14 December 2001. It is also listed by the National Trust of Australia : WA, on the Register of the National Estate of Australia, protected by the York Town Planning Scheme and listed on the York Shire Register of Heritage Places.

The c1859 Heritage Cottage B&B is a separate building close to the rear of the main house. It provides top class comprehensive quality facilities for all seasons such as sole guest status, complete privacy, antique decor, queen bed with doona and patchwork quilt, mature landscaped gardens on seasonal Bland Brook, secure parking, own entrance and hearty Australian country cooked breakfasts. magazines to peruse and complimentary welcome treats. The gardens have been featured twice as open gardens. They cover one acre adjacent to Bland Brook and provide nooks for reading, reflection and enjoyment. Rental Rates:
The current tariff per night ranges from AU$175.00 to AU$195.00 depending on the weekday and season. An additional $10:00 is charged for weekend nights during town festivals. The rates are for an adult couple, a queen bed and include full country cooked gourmet breakfasts served in our warm and cosy breakfast room or in the garden gazebo when weather permits.
