Watermill in own valley

Description:
Moulin des Chauteix is an old watermill not far from the small village of St Gervais D'Auvergne which is situated in the Auvergne region of central France (department Puy de Dome).
We have two gites, the millers house which is situated opposite the mill and is suitable for a maximum of four people, or rent part of the mill which is a lot bigger and sleeps up to 7 people. The top two floors of the mill have been tastefully converted into a gite for a maximum of 7 people.
Downstairs there is a wonderful spacious living area with open kitchen. The dining table is built around one of the mills old mechanisms, which was used to collect the flour in sacks ready to go to the local bakery. On the top floor you'll find 4 bedrooms, two double rooms , one twin room and one single room. There is a bathroom with shower and toilet and a small room with the washing machine.
Also on this floor you'll find many old features of the mill, all the old wheels are still hanging in the top of the roof.

Rental Rates:
Prices range from 275 - 395 euros for the millershouse and between 400 - 585 for the watermill.
