Aylmer, Ontario, is the home of the Ontario Police College, where Police Officers from around the Province undergo their training. It is also the best place in the area for watching the Spring Migration of Tundra Swans as they head north to their breeding grounds in the Arctic. They gather in the Aylmer area in their thousands in early Spring and may be seen from the Wildlife Viewing Area at the Wildlife Management Area on Hacienda Road, to the north of town, which is located beside the Police College.
