Located in northwest Mexico on the southern part of the Baja California Peninsula, this is a region where the desert meets the sea, allowing you to take in breathtaking scenery.
Inhabited from time immemorial, as evidenced by the cave paintings found in the Sierra de San Francisco, near Guerrero Negro, this state has more than 1,200 km (744 mi) of coastline and a wide variety of marine species.
