Cefalů (from the Greek: Κεφαλοίδιον; later in Latin: Cephaloedium) is a small ancient town in the province of Palermo, located on the northern coast of Sicily, Italy on the Tyrrhenian Sea about 75 km east from Palermo and 185 km west of Messina. A wonderful sandy beach, great cultural and natural goods, and the best sicilian food make of Cefalů one of the major tourist attractions in the region. It's perfect for all-ages travellers, thanks to the very gentle weather all over the year.
