When driving through Ericeira main road you think it is nothing but holiday flats, once you venture into the fishing village & it´s 3 cliff topped beaches you discover why it has been voted the best quality of life in Portugal. Ericeira has a wonderful tree lined square where you can take a coffee & watch the world slowly pass by, off the square are a number of interesting lanes with their tile fronted small fishing cottages.
