Stellenbosch is one of the most picturesque towns in South Africa. There are numerous wine estates, wonderful coffee shops and the beach is 20 minutes away. The university is well-known and has more than 20,000 students. All the facilities that any athlete could wish for -Stellenbosch has it. Stellenbosch is encircled by mountains and the vineyards are breathtaking - especially during the fall. There are Art Museums and theatres as well as fresh goods markets on a Saturday. There are many guest- houses and self-catering apartments of high standard.
