nice, quiet village. As with all Madeira it is almost vertical. Lovely little bread/cake shop on a very steep part, my hire car would not go uphill from it, if I stopped there. The only hotel is great, try the restaurant. Village square is nice with cafe, bars and a couple of stores; mainly there is Wifi there.
