Rennweg Am Katschberg

Town and location

Rennweg is situated near the magnificant skiing area of Katschberg 1100 m above sea level. It is the starting point for skiing and mountain tours into the protected area Poellatal and into the "Hohe Tauern". The Katschbergregion has all sport offers, purchase possibilities and ranks among the best known winter sports areas in Carinthia (1600-2200 m). In addition you have possibilities for fishing, hunting, climbing and mountainbiking in summer.

The exposed situation of the Napoleonvilla on the sunny terrace of the Katschtal with a magnificiant view on the Katschtal and Poellatal and the close Tauern mountains inspire just like the varied leisure offer of the region: Ski total (16 lift systems), ice and winter sports from December to April, hiking, climbing and adventure from May to November. Fantastic in the summer: Mountain tours in the protected area Poellatal - Katschberg - kilometers alone with mountain and sky.
