Manilva is one of the best kept secrets in Andalusia. The Village (pueblo) of Manilva is in the hills 130 metres above sea level.
On the coast you will find Sabinillas, Peurto de la Duquesa, with its quaint marina, and the traditional fishing village of Castillio, which are all part of the Manilva Municipality.
Sabinillas is a small town next door to Duquesa Marina. Sabinillas is typically Spanish with very little tourist influence. There are some fantastic restaurants on the sea front, and tapas bars in the narrow streets back from the lovely beach front, and in and behind the small square on the main street near to the taxi rank. Sabinillas has Blue Flag Beach status and life guards.
