Description :
Kingtown Beach is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes in Trumansburg, New York, on the west shore of beautiful Cayuga Lake. Our property is right at the begining of the Cayuga Wine Trail on Rte. 89 and is only 10 miles to the Seneca Wine Trail.
PERFECT FOR FAMILY REUNIONS!
Surrounded by woods, our secluded, three-bedroom, two-bath house sits right on the lake side, which you can drive right down to. Our six two and three bedroom, one-bath, kitchenette with cathedral ceiling and loft bed cottages sit overlooking the lake, with only a short walk down to the beach, docks, hoists, and the best fishing on the Finger Lakes.
Our season starts in March and closes depending on weather, typically November 30th. Our cottages are rented from March 1st through November 30th, for hunters, fishermen, and people looking for winter solace. Our two and three bedroom cottages each have a fully stocked kitchenette, full bath, and a loft area they include full linens, satelite TV and lots more! Our cottages are preferably rented by the week, but we will rent on a nightly (3 night minimum during the summer), weekly, and monthly basis.
Cayuga Lake (the most beautiful of the Finger Lakes) is part of the Barge Canal System which means you can boat from the Atlantic Ocean to Lake Ontario and all the way to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, Geneva, and more. Cayuga Lake is 42 miles long. The widest point is three-and-one-half miles. The deepest spot is 435 feet, so you better wear your life jacket!
Cayuga Lake is wonderful for all those who love wine, boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, sunsets, moonbeams, and rainbows. Fishermen enjoy an over abundance of landlocked salmon, lake, brown, and rainbow trout, pickerel, pike, perch, bass, and smelt (in the spring).
