Knowl Cottage is a 6 person picture postcard cottage in the centre of the highly acclaimed village of Hartington, (located in the heart of the White Peak area of the Peak District, just 150 yards from the River Dove). The cottage is between 500 and 700 years old with original beams exposed and has been graded the very maximum 5 Stars. Each bedroom has a spacious en-suite. Impressive Inglenook fireplace and stone mullion windows and plenty of exposed beams. The cottage also boasts full sky programmes, washing machine, dishwasher and telephone.

Hartington is located in the Peak District, centrally located in the White Peak area, (the area of dry stone walls, dales and rolling hills, the Dark Peak is mainly moorland) and is only yards from the River Dove. Dovedale is downstream along a good riverside path and is extremely popular being the start of many walks. It also benefits from a famous Cheese shop selling the produce of the local creamery, duck ponds, magnificent hall, and plenty of facilities.
