Spacious holiday home in Southern France, based in the thriving village of Couiza, complete with an excellent patisserie and restaurant. Couiza lies between the historic city of Carcassonne and the majestic Pyrenees in an area of Languedoc-Roussillon renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, an ideal base for exploring Southern France and for getting a feel of the rich culture and fine food and wines.

Couiza is situated between Limoux and Quillan and the nearest airports are Carcassonne (34km), Perpignan (60km) and Toulouse (100km).

The gite comprises 3 apartments, all of which are well equipped and attractively furnished with everything you'll need for a comfortable holiday. The ground floor sleeps 2-4, the 1st floor sleeps up to 6 and the 2nd floor sleeps 2-4; all have use of the pretty, south facing terrace. For long-term lets discount rates apply. We also accept bookings from any day to any day (6 days minimum stay) giving you greater flexibility.

The holiday homes are hung with original artwork in bold and beautiful colours, giving Mode D'Artiste its name. Each apartment has its own computer with free broadband Internet access, which makes it an ideal base from which to find local attractions, house hunt, or keep in touch with the rest of the world via email.

Children and well-behaved pets are welcome, with a high chair, toybox and plastic utensils available for children under five and the apartments are non-smoking throughout.

Rental Rates and Availability :
Prices are per apartment, per week (not per person). We accept bookings from any day to any day and proportional rates are available, with a minimum of 6 nights. We accept payment in Euros and British pounds by bank transfer, cheque or PayPal (a secure online payment system).

A £50 or 75 Euros deposit per apartment per week secures your booking. Full payment is due eight weeks prior to the start of your holiday, or at the time of booking if it is within the eight week period.
