Casa de la Acequia consists of 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) a well equiped kitchen with hob and microwave, lounge with traditional fire and bathroom with shower. The lounge has a comfortable double bed settee and there is a cot available for younger visitors.

Set in the heart of the Castril Natural Park it is an ideal walking and birdspotting holiday location as the Castril Natural Park boasts 14 seperate habitats which supports a myriad of butterflies, flora, fauna and interesting mammals such as the otter, Red and Fallow deer, muflon and wild boar, and there is speculation on the presence of the endangered Iberian Lynx. flowersYou can see raptors such as the Egyptian and Griffon Vultures which nest on the limestone faces, and Short-Toes, Golden and Booted eagles which inhabit the Pine woodland.

There are numerous walks and outdoor activities, and further information can be found at the Parks Visitor Centre and Museum in nearby Castril or from your friendly Spanish hosts.
