Surrounded by the scents of lemon blossoms, with a view of the sea to Taormina and Castelmola, sits our cottage, Limoneto. From the large terrace on the upper floor you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea. The house is in a private garden, planted with lush orange and lemon trees, located in the immediate vicinity of Mascali, and the small towns around Mt. Etna. At harvest time guests can enjoy the delicious fruit. After lunch the scent of "zagara", the lemon flower blossoms, wafts throughout the house. Limoneto was built with great attention to detail and thought for the many comforts of guests who will spend a holiday between Mt. Etna and the sea. The stone oven and barbecue invite you to grill meats or vegetables, or bake bread and pizza. The house invites you to relax with ease, but also offers the ideal starting point in the Etna area to explore hiking trails, tour baroque Catania, or visit Taormina with its famous "Teatro Greco" or Greek theatre, offering spectacular panoramic vistas. And in the shortest possible time you can also arrive at the sand beaches of Mascali and Fondachello.
Prickly pears, pistachios and pomegrante trees - Mt. Etna is an ideal target for trekking and exploring extensive hiking routes on the "mountain of mountains". The small towns around Mt. Etna beckon visitors with their many buildings built during the Baroque era. You can have some original Sicilian experiences while enjoying delicious specialties created from pistachios and almonds, such as pasta with pistachio pesto, or a real treat of "granita" ices made with fresh fruits from Mt. Etna. When driving south along the coast you will encounter the islets of the Cyclops. According to legend the cliffs of the fishing village of Aci Trezza, were formed thanks to the disappointed love of Polyphemus and his anger at Odysseus. The vibrant city of Catania offers its visitors a beautiful old town and one of the best fish markets of Sicily.

Ground floor: Fully equipped kitchen, 1 kitchenette with a stone baking oven (you'll enjoy delicious homemade bread or pizza), a large living room with a fireplace and a sofa bed, 1 bathroom with shower, large terrace with garden furniture in the middle of the lemon garden, barbecue.
Upper Floor: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, large terrace with panoramic view.
