Dreaming of a relaxing getaway on a remote mountain ridge with a spectacular view of the Smokies? Wesser Heights Cabin is that place — a contemporary three-bedroom, three-bath Nantahala luxury cabin rental with upscale furnishings and thoughtful amenities.
With the Appalachian Trail just steps away, you can enjoy a quiet walk in the woods or a longer day hike on the nation's most celebrated trail. And with Nantahala River at the foot of the mountain, the cabin is just minutes from a wide array of outdoor adventures.
The spacious tri-level layout provides plenty of places for conversation as well as places for privacy. There are 2 large multi-purpose rooms – one with comfy sofas, stereo system, fireplace, kitchen and dining area; and one with satellite TV, foosball table, and game table.
Both rooms have large windows to bring in the mountain views, and each room has access to one of the expansive decks. The lower deck has a large hot tub for six, and the upper deck has an outdoor dining table.
The cabin is in a very quiet, secluded location with both long- and short-range mountain views. Yet even with this privacy, it is only 3 minutes away from a convenience store and 5 minutes from 3 different restaurants. Shopping, art galleries, more restaurants and attractions are just 15 minutes away in Bryson City.
Just 5 minutes from the Nantahala Outdoor Center near Bryson City, the cabin is a great retreat for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding and hiking, kayaking and some of the best whitewater rafting in North Carolina.
