Welcome to the Baydreamer Hideaway, a unique eco-friendly property in Port Stephens, the 'Dolphin Capital of Australia'! Accommodating a maximum of 6 guests, we are more akin to a private resort than other types of accommodation, although we operate as a Holiday Home or as a Bed & Breakfast. The Baydreamer Hideaway is centrally located at Salamander Bay in the 'Blue Water Paradise' of Port Stephens, an easy 2 1/2 hour drive from Sydney CBD, or less than 40 minutes from Newcastle. It is convenient to all attractions in the Port Stephens area. You can take dolphin or whale watching cruises, go scuba diving at Broughton Island, surfing at One Mile Beach, or boating or fishing in the Bay. Try a round of golf at the resort course Horizons or at Nelson Bay Golf Club, grab some 4WD excitement on Stockton Beach, or go bush walking in the Tomaree or Tilligerry koala habitats. Or perhaps its dining or shopping in Nelson Bay, or just lazing by the pool or relaxing in the spa that appeals. |
